The ALab, a newly launched creativity lab in the Department of Anthropology, is inviting undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, and members of the broader Purdue community, to submit an application to affiliate with The ALab. The ALab aims to celebrate and support diverse expressive forms and modes of scholarly engagement. At The ALab, we work together to decolonize and decanonize academic practices through creative inquiry and engagement. The ALab is open to affiliates interested in presenting their work to fellow creatives, receiving/providing mentorship, and participating in crafting the lab’s vision, direction, and service to the community.
Benefits of affiliating with ALab include:
Connecting with a community of creatives within Purdue and beyond
Access to The ALab's physical exhibition space at Schleman 300
Access to The ALab's multimedia equipment
Opportunities for training, professional development, and curating and exhibiting works
Dissemination of your projects through the website and mailing list
Participate in a collaborative and shared governance lab
